Wireless executives remain upbeat

Executives in the cell phone industry are rejecting the notion that handset saturation has put the wireless business' best days in the past, saying that substantial demand exists for data services and high-tech handsets. "If there's anything I can be extremely confident about, it's that our customer base wants new phones," said Verizon Communications President Denny Strigl.
