Zuckerberg gives Facebook users virtual gift on fifth birthday

In celebration of the site's fifth birthday, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg announced in a blog post the site would be giving away a free online gift to its 150 million active users. Reflecting on the success of the social network, Zuckerberg said, "Before, most people wouldn't consider sharing their real identities online. But Facebook has offered a safe and trusted environment for people to interact online, which has made millions of people comfortable expressing more about themselves."
