Brands see opportunities with social network Foursquare

Foursquare, the social network in which users "check in" at locations and broadcast their whereabouts, has attracted the attention of major brands including Pepsi and cable network Bravo. Foursquare is building a revenue model with location-based marketing services, and is offering free services such as a "specials nearby" alert, which Tasti D-Lite is testing.
