Jake Scott's Clydesdale spot for Bud: Like father, like son

RSA Films director Jake Scott has followed in his father's footsteps by making a successful Super Bowl spot, with his Budweiser ad featuring a Clydesdale horse recognizing the rancher who raised him. Scott's father, Ridley, directed the Apple "1984" spot widely credited for starting the Super Bowl commercial craze. "Budweiser could very easily fall into the trap of being sentimental, which was a fear I had going in. So I approached that one with an attitude that that couldn't happen," Scott says in this interview.
