Minn. Medicaid expansion would save money, official says

Expanding Minnesota's Medicaid program under the Affordable Care Act would add 145,000 adults and children to the program. Minnesota Human Services Commissioner Lucinda Jesson said the state would save money because the expanded Medicaid program, funded at 100% by the federal government for three years, would draw people from another assistance program partly funded by the state.
