Multivitamin users have healthier lifestyles, poll finds

Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey showed that among Americans who took multivitamins, 45% did so because they thought it would improve their health, 33% took them to maintain their health and 23% did so because a doctor recommended it. Vitamin users reported better overall health and were more likely than non-users to exercise, researchers wrote in JAMA Internal Medicine.
