Study explores demographics of PAs in primary care

A study in the Annals of Family Medicine revealed about one-third of physician assistants opt for employment in a primary care setting. Researchers also found PAs who were older, female and Hispanic were more likely to choose primary care, mirroring trends seen among medical students.
