Microsoft makes big investment in Foursquare

In a bid to make the Windows Phone more competitive with its dominant rivals, Microsoft is investing $15 million to cement a partnership with Foursquare Labs. The deal is expected to bring Foursquare's entertainment suggestions to Windows phones and open up new opportunities for using location-based data in mobile apps.
