New Zealand school opts for iPad rollout over BYOD

A school in New Zealand has opted to provide iPad minis for students rather than implement a bring-your-own-device programme over fears that BYOD would create a culture of haves and have-nots. Officials also said that BYOD could cause difficulties for teachers faced with a classroom full of different technology. The recent rollout included students in years four and six, and there are plans to include students in junior school.
