Washington nurses, hospitals agree on staffing plan

Washington nurse groups and hospitals agreed to support legislation that requires cooperation to create detailed staffing plans at every hospital. The agreement gives nurses more input on staffing and requires a unit-by-unit, shift-by-shift nurse-staffing plan.
