AirTran recalls remaining pilots from furlough

AirTran Airways said Wednesday it plans to recall all remaining pilots furloughed last year amid soaring fuel prices and declining capacity. Despite further capacity cuts of up to 7% this year, the airline says retirements and the coming summer season have increased its need for pilots. Of the 169 pilots furloughed last year, 49 were still idle at the time of the announcement.
