Study: Global infrastructure spending may reach $35 trillion

Global infrastructure spending could soar to $35 trillion over the next 20 years, according to a study by CIBC World Markets. As roads and bridges deteriorate and the demand for public transit increases across the world, many governments are stepping in. CIBC forecasts Asia will spend $400 billion on infrastructure each year, with North America lagging at $180 billion.
