France's Hermes increases its profit expectations for 2009

Hermes, the second-largest luxury-goods maker in the world, said its operating profit likely showed a small increase in 2009 compared with the previous year. Previously the French luxury group said it expected a small decline, but made the change on strong Christmas trading and full-year sales that beat expectations.
