General aviation feedback helped end user fee proposal

Resistance from the general aviation community helped cut a proposal to include user fees in the Federal Aviation Administration budget for 2011. The FAA reauthorization bill, stalled in a Senate committee, could also advance within the next two months. "This year, we will be holding events around the country telling our members that if they care about GA, they must get engaged," said Craig Fuller of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
