Retailers, IT companies partner to create new Product Lifecycle Management standards

Merchants including Macy's, Kohl's and Urban Outfitters are part of a group working to create standards for product lifecycle management systems, with a goal of creating standard software that works with other common systems used by retailers and manufacturers. The group, which also includes IT companies and NRF's Association of Retail Technology Standards, expects to unveil the results of its work this fall.
