Pet obesity issue is still growing, annual study finds

A study by the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention found that 53% percent of adult dogs, roughly 41 million dogs, and 55% of cats, about 47 million, are overweight or obese, according to their veterinarians. The study finds that more pets are becoming obese and the already overweight pets are still gaining weight.
