Shell exec sees Alaskan drilling project pushing through in 2012

Royal Dutch Shell should be able to proceed with its Alaskan exploration project this year, said Pete Slaiby, vice president of Shell Alaska. Slaiby said he is optimistic even though federal regulators haven't approved the company's oil-spill response plan for the Beaufort and Chukchi seas.
