BNSF's rail network sparks $90.2M logistics project

BNSF's 32,000-mile rail network across North America prompted Ceres Global Ag to build a $90.2 million commodity logistics hub in Northgate, Saskatchewan. The rail connection will enable shipping customers to reach diverse markets in 28 U.S. states, many ports and other strategic locations. The project "will help ease the bottleneck of getting commodities -- especially grain and oil -- out of Saskatchewan and will provide a new and competitive option for shippers and exporters," said Ceres President Michael Detlefsen.
