Disney broadcast revenue is up on strong ad performance

Walt Disney Co. in its most recent quarter saw profit fall 6% to $1.38 billion, due to higher programming expenses at ESPN and a dip in DVD sales. Revenue grew 5% to $11.34 billion. Disney's ABC network and stations saw strong ad revenue, leading to a 6% revenue jump and a 16% increase in operating income for the broadcast unit.
