Duke Energy provides cost update on $11B S.C. reactor project

Duke has spent $319.6 million on predevelopment activities for its two-reactor Lee nuclear plant in South Carolina that will cost $11 billion to build. Completion of the project has been pushed back from 2016 to 2022 based on a 10-year plan filed by Duke in September.
