How Brazil became a social media hotspot

Brazil is becoming one of the largest national markets for Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Social networks are pouring resources into the country, and finding that Brazilians are quite willing to share information about themselves online. "I think our culture ... really makes people much more open to include and connect to friends," says Alexandre Hohagen, vice president of Facebook's Latin America division.
