IBM co-develops antibacterial hydrogel

IBM Research and the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology in Singapore are working on a biodegradable hydrogel that attracts and kills bacteria by rupturing their membranes. The physical attack prevents bacteria from developing a resistance to the gel.
