Nev. board records $98.9 million in wagers on Super Bowl

The Nevada Gaming Control Board said gamblers wagered a record-setting $98.9 million on this year's Super Bowl, which outpaced the $93 million total bet in 2006. Sports books in the state won $7.2 million on the Baltimore Ravens 34-31 victory against the San Francisco 49ers.
