Noninvasive device tightens skin, reduces fat

The TriPollar radiofrequency device warms and tightens skin to reduce the appearance of fat while an infrared camera is used to measure the heat. "There's a transducer that runs over the top of your skin, and it heats the skin up," allowing collagen to "remodel" and improve your look, plastic surgeon Michael Fiorillo said. Results are often immediate, though five treatments are usually needed for the best outcome, Fiorillo said.
