You may think your body will get used to less sleep over time, but that isn't true, Jane Porter writes. Sleep specialist Michael Breus says lack of sleep means you'll "lose the ability to focus; you have a greater likelihood of making mistakes; and you'll have greater risk taking behavior." Caffeine may make you feel more alert, but it won't make up for a lack of sleep.
