What a sea-level rise could mean for Boston

A report by the Boston Harbor Association shows that coastal communities around Boston would be vulnerable to flooding if the sea level rose. It looked at two scenarios and detailed what would be hit. Meanwhile, Mayor Thomas Menino’s administration proposes to "include climate change preparedness as a required design component in the city’s development review guidelines, and to model new guidelines for better enforcing flood-proofing standards on existing buildings."
