EBRI study says 401(k), Social Security may be enough

A combination of Social Security benefits and 401(k) savings may be enough for many retirees to live on, according to a study from the Employee Benefit Research Institute. EBRI found that 85% of workers with more than 30 years of eligibility in a 401(k) will be able to replace at least 60% of their wages and salary earned at age 64 when they combine that income with Social Security benefits.
