How can teacher leaders create effective modern schools?

To create modern schools that are successful, educators and school leaders must be passionate about their work and focus on creating "voracious learners," according to Chris Lehmann, founding principal of Science Leadership Academy. Speaking at a recent conference, Lehmann argued that educators must reclaim their relevancy, be mentors to students and encourage them to ask questions. "We need to stop believing that anybody has more of a say in what goes on in our schools and how to build them than we do," Lehmann said.
