Idaho state education board opposes concealed-gun legislation

The Idaho State Board of Education voted unanimously Monday to oppose proposed legislation that would allow concealed guns to be carried on the state's college campuses. The bill would not allow guns in dormitories or large entertainment venues on campuses, but one board member expressed concern about the safety of public-school children visiting campuses.
