Miami, Anaheim, lead hotel survey of room occupancy growth

A new survey of hotel markets shows that sunshine may be just the ticket to boost room occupancy, with Miami-Dade County, Fla., had the highest percentage growth in room rate occupancy, followed closely by Anaheim, Calif. The survey, taken by Smith Travel Research, showed Miami had a 3.9% increase in occupancy, as well as a rise in average daily room rates.
