You can't believe everything you hear from a venture capitalist, according to author Guy Kawasaki, managing director of Garage Technology Ventures. Kawasaki has put together a list of nine "lies" told by venture capitalists to help entrepreneurs understand and communicate better with them. Lie No. 1: "I liked your company, but my partners didn't." That's just a cop-out, Kawasaki writes.
