Ariz. considers increased funding for online schools

Online schools in Arizona would be eligible for additional funding if students perform well on state tests under a proposal being considered by lawmakers. The proposal is one of several being considered this year that would increase accountability -- and, potentially, funding -- for online schools. One change would allow online schools to be funded at the same level as traditional schools, if students can demonstrate mastery of the subject.
