Colo. students learn about cancer from teacher with disease

Colorado third-grade teacher Pam Pottorff has turned her battle with breast cancer into an opportunity for students at her school to learn about the disease. Besides talking with students about cancer, Pottorff organized a fundraiser for others with cancer and led a school assembly with the support of school administrators. "We have our students learn beyond state standards and expectations," Principal Michael Norris said. "We have them learn about life."
