Calif. firm looks to jatropha for biojet fuel

SG Biofuels of San Diego has signed an agreement with Brazil's Embrapa and Fiagril to develop biojet and biodiesel fuel from jatropha. "Our agreements with Embrapa and Fiagril validate the market acceptance of our jatropha hybrids in Brazil and provide a strong platform from which to quickly expand commercial production," said Kirk Haney, president and CEO of SG Biofuels.
