Partnership aims to discover neurological disease markers

Emerald Logic has partnered with King's College London to uncover biomarkers for neurological diseases including Alzheimer's. Researchers at King's College are using Emerald Logic's Fast Collective Evolution Technology, or FACET, in their work. They have already identified some markers, which, combined with APOE genetic data and demographic information, allowed for development of a method with 94% accuracy in differentiating Alzheimer's disease, mild cognitive impairment and controls, according to Emerald Logic.
