Mich. school hosts "Harry Potter"-themed math night

Some students and parents recently gathered for Harry Potter Math Night held at an elementary school in Michigan. The students played quidditch, sorted numbered golden snitches from lowest to highest, and used their measuring and weighing skills to make wands. All of the activities had some connection to the books and movies. "Even if they only know who Harry Potter is, they'll still come," math interventionist Alisa Andree said.
