Survey: Execs say biggest risks include shifts in regulations

Executives cited shifting regulations as well as greater regulatory pressures among the biggest risks they face, according to a survey report by Protiviti and North Carolina State University's Poole College of Management. "Even organizations in industries that are less heavily regulated can feel the indirect effects of new and changing regulations, especially those affecting all types of organizations, on profitability and growth," said Mark Beasley, a professor at the university.
