Pa. Online Charter School Demands Owed Money

Teach, the Einstein Academy Charter School, has asked the state to pay the $3.5 million it says it is owed. Education Secretary Charles Zogby says the state will not pay, unless Teach addresses complaints about lack of textbooks, PCs, online access and special education services. The online charter school, which provides home education for 2,200 Pennsylvania students, says it may be forced to close, if it doesn't receive the funds.
