Boeing, Japan in talks for next-generation 737

Boeing is in talks with Japan Airlines about building a new 737 that could seat up to 220 people, up from the 189 carried by the largest 737. The new plane is called the 737-900X. An order from Japan Airlines for 30 single-aisle planes ensured Boeing's dominance in the Japanese market.
