Horizontal display lifts Hy-Vee's sales of private-label brands

Sales of Hy-Vee's private-label brands increased by 30% after the chain adopted a horizontal merchandising pattern on its shelves instead of a more traditional display, said Daymon Worldwide official Jon Tisch. The horizontal pattern allows consumers to more easily find the products they want, Tisch added.
