Tips for measuring in the kitchen

Every kitchen requires two types of measuring cups: metal or plastic for dry ingredients and glass or clear plastic for wet ingredients. Liquid measuring cups should be calibrated correctly, such as the Pyrex brand. The best way to ensure measurement accuracy with dry ingredients, however, is to weigh the ingredient.
