Insurers could lose as much as $1.4B from February storm, AIR says

Insured losses from a major winter storm that affected 30 states in February could amount to as much as $1.4 billion, according to AIR Worldwide. The estimate accounts for damage to residential and other properties, additional living expenses incurred by carriers and interruption losses sustained by businesses from the storm, the catastrophe modeler said.
