Survey: E-readers, desktops are popular among boomers

E-readers are most popular with younger boomers, defined as between the ages of 47 and 56, and seniors are a close second in that category. A Pew Research Center survey found 7% of younger boomers and 6% of seniors owned one of the devices -- the highest percentages for all age groups. The survey also found that more than 60% of both younger and older boomers own desktop computers.
