Click-to-call is key to Google's mobile ad dominance

With the rush into mobile advertising and the new technologies that provide video and animation, mobile marketers still tend to prefer simple ads that consumers can click to make a phone call. In that category, Google is the leader. After its 2010 introduction of click-to-call ads, Google is also the overall leader in mobile advertising, accounting for more than half of U.S. ad revenues on the platform last year.
