NS' $95M intermodal project to boost operations, spur jobs in Pa.

Norfolk Southern's $95 million Franklin County Regional Intermodal Facility in Antrim Township, Pa., is expected to have an initial handling capacity of 85,000 trailers each year, and generate about 120 jobs. The project is part of the Class I's Crescent Corridor initiative. "Because of its strategic location to key markets in the Mid-Atlantic region, the new Franklin County terminal is vital to the success of our Crescent Corridor," said NS CEO Charles Moorman.
