Should schools in Britain teach chess?

In Armenia, officials have added chess to the national curriculum, and other countries, including India, Turkey and Norway, have made similar moves. Now one international master of the game is hoping Britain can revisit the focus on chess that it had in the 1980s. "When I talk to headteachers they often say: 'We always had a chess club when I was at school. Why haven't we got one now?'" Malcolm Pein said.
