Cartoon Network sees games as key to building audience

Cartoon Network has notched "millions and millions of downloads" for applications that let users screen content and play related games on iOS devices, according to Chris Waldron, the channel's vice president of digital. The reception to the games "shows how passionate the fans are," Waldron said. "They want to interact with the content all the time; they want to talk about it. They feel they have a direct line with us."
