CBOT corn, NYMEX oil, ethanol futures retreat

March corn declined for the fifth straight session to end at $7.1075 per bushel Thursday, down 11.75 cents, on the Chicago Board of Trade. Light sweet crude for March delivery slipped 79 cents to settle at $95.83 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. March denatured ethanol closed at $2.408 per gallon, down 2.1 cents, on the CBOT.
