CBS reports surge in Super Bowl second-screening

The number of viewers live-streaming the Super Bowl on their PCs and tablets increased 46% to 3 million this year, according to CBS. The network says the devices were used mainly as second screens, allowing viewers "to socialize with other fans, view other camera angles, review plays, re-watch commercials, track stats and more," including record levels of Twitter activity.
