Demand for flex-fuel vehicles in U.S. is low, carmakers say

There is not enough demand yet for flex-fuel vehicles in the U.S., according to automakers at the National Ethanol Conference in Las Vegas. Carmakers need "confidence" that there will be enough ethanol available to justify making more flex-fuel vehicles, said Coleman Jones, biofuel implementation manager for General Motors.
